Locksmith Wanted

Chico's longest operating Locksmith is hiring! Johnnys Lock & Safe has been serving the people of Chico and Butte County since 1958 and is currently looking to add the right person to our growing team. Skills required include a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service. Experience with door related hardware is a plus but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Locksmiths perform regular locksmith tasks including rekeying, making keys, master keying, and lock picking along with service, installation, and repair of standard lock hardware. We also have a strong presence in automotive locksmithing.
• We offer in-shop services as well as a robust mobile service.
• Upfront and regular training is provided.

Experience

• Locksmith and/or door hardware experience is helpful but not necessary.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record (required)
• Clean criminal record. (We are licensed through the State)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders
• Comfortable with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Windows, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
