New Year's Eve Celebration at monca
Wednesday, December 31, 2025 (6:00 PM - 10:00 PM) (PST)
Description
Ring in the new year in style at the Museum of Northern California Art (monca)! We will be celebrating new beginnings and inspiring change on Wednesday, December 31st from 6-10PM.
This year’s theme is Black and White, playing into the contrasts between one year and another, our duality as human animals and creative artists, and all that can be uttered in two simple shades.
The event is hosted by the fabulous Erin Horst, a multi-hyphenate theater actor, founder, director at Legacy Stage, plus Chico State Theater lecturer and acting teacher at Inspire. Musical arrangements by the members of iconic local rock band Hot Flash will keep you feeling groovy!
Drinks will be available at the no-host bar, including choices of beer, wine, and a specialty cocktail.
Local Mediterranean restaurant, Ali Baba, will be serving a light supper.
During the party, a live raffle will occur, showcasing a breadth of exciting experiential prizes like private creative workspace tours, detailed below.
Make sure to dress up in your favorite black and white garb to catch a photo booth moment with your friends! Props available, silly poses encouraged!
$20 for monca members and volunteers
You may purchase tickets online here or at the door.
Thank you to our amazing museum volunteers, Board members, and staff as well as the artists donating their time via the raffle experiences. We appreciate the hard work and energy of our host, Erin Horst, and the talent of the Hot Flash band. Bringing light and joy to the community takes coordination!
