Cimo studied classical guitar at USC’s Thornton School of Music and performs regularly in chamber ensembles and as an orchestral soloist. He directed and played in the lauded California International Guitar Festival in 2022, alongside artists like Ana Vidovic and Pepe Romero.
Jack Cimo tours internationally, playing virtuosic solo sets as well as with symphony orchestras. His solo album, Jack Cimo Plays Bach, Bogdanovic, Walton, and Arnold was released in 2019 and received praise from the composer Dusan Bogdanovic, who stated that Cimo’s rendition of his piece, Rainforest Canticles, is “the best recording of the piece, very inspired, precise and expressive.”
