Join us for our annual Salmon Tours on the gorgeous Feather River! Every fall the Chinook, or King, salmon make their way from the Pacific Ocean up the Sacramento River and into the Feather River in Oroville to spawn. Salmon Tours offer you the opportunity to kayak right alongside them! On the tour, You will learn about the lifecycle of the salmon, the Feather River, and get to see Oroville in a whole new way! The Salmon tour is appropriate for kayakers of all abilities. Youth ages 7-12 are welcome as long as they are riding in a tandem with an accompanying adult. Guides will accompany you from start to finish but for safety reasons, BASIC KAYAKING SKILLS ARE REQUIRED. This tour is on a river and is not for the absolute beginer. Under our guides' direction, You must be able to under navigate around obstacles in the river as well as paddle a calm 1/2 mile stretch of river.
