Please join us for the 5th Annual Summer Classic Blood Drive on Saturday August 2nd. Due to a summer blood shortage Type O- blood is now at status level Severe need - There is currently a (severe need for/severe shortage of) blood and blood products. • If we do not replenish the blood supply now, doctors may have to make impossible choices about patient care. • Simply put, when there isn't enough blood on the shelves, doctors must choose who can get the treatment they need now and who must wait. • Vitalant urges all eligible donors to schedule an appointment in the next few days to ensure patient needs can be met. • Due to a summer blood shortage all blood types (excluding O-) are now at status level Critical need - There is currently a (critical need for/critical shortage of) blood. • Blood donors are critically needed now. • Help prevent delays in lifesaving medical care, schedule an appointment to donate today. • Vitalant urges all eligible blood donors to schedule a blood donation this week.
