3/10/2026

A Note from Suzie Lawry-Hall, Chamber Chairperson

It is an honor to step into the role of Chairperson for the Chico Chamber of Commerce. The strength and resilience of the City of Chico continue to impress me, and my pride in the community runs deep. After nearly a decade of challenges in our community, we are ready to act.

As the voice of business for Chico, we are committed to preserving the city we know and love while embracing its thirst for innovation and positive change. With our trusted business partners and city leadership, we continue to work toward reinvigorating downtown, using it as the catalyst for future improvement throughout the city, including the pursuit of entertainment districts.

The Chico Chamber Board and President/CEO support the organization's commitment to recruit new businesses, expand existing ones, and support people, companies, and organizations, such as the new CARD Aquatic Center. Our goal is to encourage local investment, strengthen economic development, and foster the liveliness that makes Chico unique. Additionally, we are revisiting and extending our membership to ensure we serve not just individuals, but the entire network of businesses that make up our dynamic community.

The future of Chico will not simply happen. It’s something we will build together. By lifting each other up, supporting one another, and expanding our collective reach, we are strengthening the foundation for a prosperous future.

Join us! Say yes! Be brave and try new things. I truly believe we are poised to create a future that will make the next generation proud. I’ll see you around town!
